Kick-off of the PACIFIC project!

The PACIFIC project (Particle emissions, Air quality and Climate Impact related to Fuel composition and engine Cycle) has officially kicked off under Horizon Europe on January 22nd 2025! The meeting took place both face-to-face and online, and also provided the opportunity to organise a workshop on the fuel strategy for the project the following day. Thanks DLR for hosting us!​

Coordinated by Airbus, PACIFIC brings together 10 partners from 4 countries to investigate the impact of fuel composition and engine cycle on particle emissions, from laboratory tests to full-scale aircraft ground testing.
